If you’ve been the recipient of a mix from me within the last 10 years, it’s safe to assume you’ve been exposed to the music of Neil Halstead — whether it be Slowdive, Mojave 3 or a track from his solo albums. While a lot of folks prefer Neil Halstead’s shoegaze Slowdive over the “country” vibe of Mojave 3, I am a big fan of everything he has done/does. Right down to his most recent album, Oh! Mighty Engine.
