Lately we’ve been spending a lot of time at my sister and brother-in-law’s house.
Their dog Bear loves it because he has a crush on Dick:

INTRODUCING AMELIA JANE

My sister Julie recently gave birth to her 2nd daughter, Amelia Jane. I feel so lucky to have been there. It was the ideal delivery to witness; over much sooner than I’d expected. (I know, easy for me to say, but the fact that she didn’t even break a sweat has got to mean something.)
Looking at these pictures makes me so happy to remember such an incredible experience. It was perfect, yet so surreal. (And I mean, surreal. Even more so since I was loopy on Percocet, recovering from a surgery a few days prior.)
Somebody teach this baby some manners! ~ Notice that she’s flipping me off! Ha. Completely out of character for her; she’s the sweetest, easiest going baby I’ve known.
